University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)
Since I had graduated from SMJK Yu Hua, Kajang, and got my SPM result, I'd enrolled in UTAR for foundation successfully. The foundation courses started on the 8th of June, but the orientation programs stated on the 31st of May 2015.
One of my friend -- Ke Wei, who are going to take psychology as her degree course as me, both of us were attending the orientation programs for the first few days. We had found that attending this programs can make a lots of friends, and it's fun to play with the new friends. All of us knew that FRIENDS are important to us in our life no matter which stage we are staying. I'd learned a lesson from the orientation programs, that is: you must step out the first step to meet a new friend.
After the orientation programs had ended, we started our first semester in UTAR, which is a long semester and it takes 4 months ++ to end. We thought university is much better or even we will get more friends compare with the secondary school; but the truth is : NO ONE WILL TALK TO YOU EXCEPT YOU STEP OUT THE FIRST STEP. This situation seriously make me in trouble because I'm shy to take the first step. So, when the lecturers said ''you may form your assignment group now'' or ''who doesn't have a assignment group?'', this two sentences make me crazy seriously! arghhhhh! Although we formed a group, and the group members are be like - I will do my part and you must do your part and hand in the assignment on time then we will not need to communicate anymore. :/ #but of course not every members are the same :)
Just skip all the unhappy matter occurred when we are processing our assignment, and it comes to the mid-term examinations. For the social science students, we need to take 5 subject which is Introduction to Sociology, Mathematics for Social Science, Computing Technology, Basic English and Principles of Economics. For me, I'm in love with Math and Comp Tech since I love math and additional mathematics during secondary school while the Comp Tech are seriously interesting hahaha. At the same time, I'm tired with the Economics, it is all about the business or any staff that I can't store any of it in my mind. For the Sociology, I knew that that might be the basic for my degree course - psychology. But I can't understand it in the first few weeks, and I tried to make it simple and think this is only a simple logic what are human thinking. So, this make me understand better on it.
I only start to study the Sociology for two hours before the Mid-tern start, and the result was really shocked me as I got better than I thought.

All Utarian were so stressful for the final examinations, as for UTAR, if you failed one subject, you need to retake the subject but not resit for the examination. So, you might have fourth semester if you FAILED. Since this was the first semester and first final examinations, I was afraid of the result and CGPA, and many of my friends said that UTAR examination are super super super difficult so they decide not to enroll in UTAR. So, I just hope I can pass all the subject LOL
During the final examinations, I'd found that the papers are not difficult as what other people thought, IF you really understand and study the subject. For me, I'd study for Economics, but I'm not really understand, so of course I'm not confident with it. But for other subject that I really understand and study for it, I realize that I can do it although not that well.
And finally the result release on 1st of October, before the second semester start. I was nervous and afraid as I was worried for the Economics and Basic English. But the result was out of my expectation, I'm happy with my result. Thanks to the Lord and Praise the the Lord ❤
So, I'd ended my first semester in UTAR, and have 2 more to go! Make a promise to myself, I will study harder and effectiveness compare to the first semester.
I would like to stop here, and will continue for the other part of my life soon. :)
